On February 21st, 2007, GameoverVLTs.com launched a VLT Free Campaign. This is a campaign to recognize the hundreds of licensed establishments in Nova Scotia who made a conscious decision not to house VLTs on their premises. These businesses are in the hospitality business for the right reasons, to provide good food, drink and/or entertainment. They chose not to make easy money off the backs of the thousands of VLT addicts in the province of Nova Scotia and further line the pockets of the Atlantic Lottery Corporation and of course the government. We had a mass mail out campaign which included VLT Free decals to be placed in a visible exterior location of the business. This is a sign to the public that they do not have VLTs on their premises and thus also provide a safe place for addicts and their family and friends to enjoy an evening of entertainment without the lure of VLTs in a back room to entice play. We are publicly recognizing these establishments and ask the public to patronize these businesses who are working hard in the hospitality industry to provide you a good evening of entertainment. Look for the VLT Free decals in your area today.
